Tapuy Lodge · Canaima
Visual identity for Tapuy Lodge by LD Hoteles, in the heart of Canaima.

Identity · 2024
Canaima · Venezuela
We built Tapuy Lodge's identity starting from the architecture of the place: the silhouette of the tapuy — the traditional Pemón house — becomes the icon, while a geometric typeface opens 'light gaps' in the letters, echoing doors and entries. The palette draws from jungle, earth and the Gran Sabana's stone.

An arch, a threshold, a Pemón home.
01 · IconTapuy · PemónInspired by the traditional Pemón dwelling with conical roof and wide entrance.
The inner arch reads as an open door: an invitation to enter, to inhabit the space, to stay.
Drawn from a circular module on a straight base, no decorative curves, clean reading at any scale.
Works as a seal, watermark, embroidery and concrete signage with the same visual weight.
